MARMOLEUM FLOORING READING
Forbo Marmoleum flooring is a natural product made from linseed oil, wood flour, rosin, jute and limestone. Marmoleum is available in a comprehensive range of design elements. From the standpoint of an average homeowner marmoleum flooring is durable and easy to clean. Marmoleum looks beautiful for years in areas with heavy traffic. Dust mop regularly, damp mop when needed and wipe the messiest spills away. Marmoleum floors do not stain and there is no need to wax.
Marmoleum flooring has antibacterial properties. This means that microorganisms like salmonella aren't spread. This property comes from one of the ingredients, linseed oil. Linseed oil continues to oxidize in the floor and the bacteria can't multiply as with other types of flooring. As the linseed oil oxidizes it hardens making the floor even more durable. Estimate life of one of these floors is fifty years.
The Marmoleum decorative elements, used in combination with tiles, are an immensely versatile & flexible way to create a unique floor. All elements are made to order and are therefore available in any combination of the 30 Marmoleum colours. Forbo also offers a bespoke design service where any design from a doodle to a work of art can be reproduced giving your home the personal touch.
Marmoleum tiles are available in 30 colours. The sizes are 33.3 x 33.3 cm or 50 x 50 cm and give you great designer freedom to create your own unique look at home, especially when combined with decorative additional elements available in this natural product.
Marmoleum Click is a product that laminates the original Marmoleum product on HDF panels and cork to create an easy to use natural product. It comes in panels of 90 x 30 cm (7 in a box for appr. 1.89m2) and squares of 30 x 30 (also 7 in a box for appr. 0.63m2). Panels and squares come in 21 beautiful colours that can be easily combined to create your own unique decorative floor.
